WordPress 2.6.2 Available
WordPress 2.6.2 is made available couple hours and you need to decide if upgrade is right for you or even needed. I do have to mention that it contains not only bug fixes but also addresses a security issue that is common to many PHP applications.
Reading through the issues addressed as described on developers blog - I’m safe to wait with upgrade until I have a bit more time as I don’t allow open registration and my PHP is compiled with latest Suhosin. If you are not sure about yours – perhaps you should upgrade.

Great news Alex!
I was about to update my blog a few days ago, but didn’t want to because of the potential bugs that I heard about.
I guess I can get back to updating it now

There seem to have been quite a few updates recently. I have been using wordpress for a couple of years but am still learning so never sure whether to keep upgrading each time or not.
