Good luck. Using these 2 plugins kills 100% of automated spam. I still see one or two generated by some a-hole coming through but its no big deal

Well, Richard I was unable to identify what blog script you are using and you didn’t say what it is … kinda hard for me to guess …

Dear Alex,

Yup I know that feeling I am trying to fight them off now, the funny thing is I found your blog via another one that had somehow spammed my trackback links with the culprits website located here: enter-allthings.blogspot.com.

My biggest problem is used an open source blog script and reprogrammed a lot of it, which makes it very hard (without additional programming) to add new plugins, although your topic was of great interest to me the links you rpovided were of little use, do you know whether there is other plugins that are easily integrated into scripts like the one I am using..??

Thanks for the good suggestions of spam stoppers.
My blog has been fine so far, but my brothers was getting hammered with spam comments.

I installed both addons and will check to see how well they help..
