Hi Alex, it is a nice post and really good list you have made. Truly commenting is the best process to understand your audience and what your readers want from you. In my blog, i don’t get so many comments. But all the comments that are made there make me understand what my readers feel about my blog and what i should write about in my next post. But i have to agree that Commenting is the best system to interact with your readers to better ideas for your next post.

Have you seen a notable increase in spam when you started using commentluv versus not? The fear I have is getting spammed a lot more if I use commentluv on all my blogs. My recent post You Could’ve Doubled Your Money in Less Than Two Years

Spam Karma should no longer be used just because they couldn’t keep up with development of the core. Comment relish could be downloaded here: http://old.justinshattuck.com/2009/04/01/comment-relish-version-20-release/

These plugins look great but I can’t find Comment Relish or Spam Karma 2. I’d really like to add them to my site. The link for Comment Relish in your article above returned a 404 error.

I just downloaded the Comment Relish plugin.
Thats a great plugin. Thanks for that source,
but when i installed it I got the following message
when I go to settings:

You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

Can you tell me what to do to correct it?
