@Joni - that is quite an extensive question….

I have a guide on this blog that describes how to put Best Of in sidebar … for others, I’m not sure I can provide exact details. Edit your theme and since it greatly depends on your theme - you just have to figure out where to code those links in. Most of the time in header.php for top and footer.php for bottom. But ist can be quite different for your theme.

Alex, I like your site design (wp theme) and the ways you are helping people find past content with the ‘Best Of WordPress Web 2.0 Guide’ in the sidebar. How do you do that? And the ‘featured post’ on the home page. Again, how do you do that? Also like the links at the top and bottom of your pages.

your right I have seen these and I was goin to post about it last week - but then I would be adding to it - but yes I do notice it - talkin about the importance of blog design - your blog deisng is important etc etc

its funny because I emphasize on blog design, web design colors, etc on several posts - but I didnt become popular - boo I should have done it when everyone else was doing it so I can be cool too

Thanks for taking the time to comment Darren. I actually like what you’ve done and the only issue I had is that it looks a bit busy on front page Lots of headlines and not a whole lot of text that comes with it.

I, for one, would be interested to learn how that layout affected your blog - do you see increase in interaction, do people start to visit older pages more? A post on your blog with some updates would be interesting reading .. and yea .. I subscribe to your rss so I will not miss it.
