Do you have plugin instaled on your blog to sent new post to ping.fm ? What is name of that plugin?

Or you type messages on ping.fm post page?

I am trying to setup some plugins to post automatically.

I find Twitter to be difficult to get on board with. Thanks for the tip on loginlockdown plugin. It should put my mind at is to some extent. As to the usefulness of twitter, well, I do think it has some value. Even John Chow uses it to the max. I found myself difficult to adapt to the fast changing twitter. I have been digging around and researching about Twitter, and I can understand why it is a must have. The question is how to use twitter to its full potential?

That is actually a very good point Alex, even though I would want to use it in the opposite way. Because of Twitters ever changing character I prefer the more static websites. At least it is easier (to me) to find stuff again
