Even if they use their real name, which few of the losers who flame people on these sites do, it's still pretty much anonymous. There's little you can do about it and if you get sucked into their "discussions" about these things, all it really does is serve to aggravate you and raise your blood pressure. Personally, I just stay away from these kinds of "communities". Most of them have a serious "anti-marketer" stance, even though they're actually doing the same thing by trying to sell other people on their particular view of the world. I have more important things to spend my time on than trying to argue with dimwits. If every actor, musician or author did that, the world would be a much poorer place. How come bloggers are expected to be hopeful wall flowers? Thank goodness for BloggingZoom, Sphinn and others which awards great content, whether or not it is self-submitted.
