As long as you are putting up useful and relevant content on each web 2.0 site that is supporting your main site, the extra effort is definitely worth it. And, of course, has nothing to do with “black hat” tactics. You are just giving google what it likes: fresh, relevant, valuable content.

In one of my niches, my blogger gets more traffic than my main wordpress blog. Just the way the keywords worked out; the main keywords aren’t doing as well as some of the secondary ones are. Without the blogspot, my main blog would have virtually no traffic. In fact the adsense on my blogspot makes more money than all the monetization on all the rest put together.

I think that internet marketing is sometimes like making a soup. You add a little of this and a little of that and stir. Simmer for awhile and taste it. Each time you make a new soup it will taste a little different than the last. Some of the soups will taste only OK and others will be fantastic! You just keep making more pots of soup!

I agree with this method, more like building link wheels isn’t it?
I have an email you sent me regarding using PingpressFm, I think it is an awesome way to automate your linkbuilding to your posts.
Just have to make sure you don’t leave a footprint for google to follow, don’t you?

You can add more tools like tweeter, facebook to gain more visitor to your blogs. Its really helpful for me.

I have tried all the 5 free resources above and I have nothing but positive comments to it. On the list, I find blogger to be one of the most effective and also squidoo lenses.. You just really have to appear reputable to make it work all the way..

Also, twitter is free… And twittering is a thing you can to bring updates to followers which, in return, means traffic..

This kind of thing does work. The real trick is organization. It’s easy to set these ancillary sites up and it’s easy to update them–but only if you do a good job of keeping track of all the details for all of your sites.

I am using free online resources like Squidoo, HubPages and other to mostly build back-links to my sites. Do not expect to get a lot of sales from free resources, however they are very helpful if you want to build eBay affiliate "store" (BANS or phpBay Pro) and keep it alife in Google.
