Alwin,

Try to click on His “Get Review” widget or check out some of his internal pages. Perhaps his humor is not too obvious sometimes but I “personally” like it. BTW, I have no relation to the guy and have NOTHING to gain from this post besides the fact of providing info I think is useful.

I agree 100% that people love humor. That's why speakers will spice their speech with humor to get the audience attention and response. However I don't see much humor in the website that you mention. I think one important thing to remember is to simply be yourself. I find that my blog posts are fresher when I stick to my authentic voice while writing instead of trying to live up to some expectation. Humor is great, if you're a naturally funny and witty person, but not all of us are! Of course one certain way to draw attention is to demonstrate some real expertise in the area that you are commenting on. I like to have humor in my writings as well. But, for our first, original site, I only editorialize the postings, as they are contributions from servicemen & women to honor them and the military. The posts and stories they submit are in their words, save for a spelling correction.

That said, I have 1300+ other domains that I will sprinkle humor in the posts.
