I may have come off slightly harsher than how I meant to sound in regards to outsourcing writing. I wouldn’t ever just directly publish, but would reword the work in my own voice. All in all though, I like doing the writing 100% by myself, but that isn’t very leveraged!

It just occured to me that there is a flip-side to the outsourcing concept: education. By buying books and training material from others who have gone before you, you effectively “out-source” the initial learning and experimenting to them, for the cost of the program!

I like it! That way, you end up outsourcing on both sides, for maximum effectiveness!

Ok, back to work again, making a video for my site….

I also don’t agree with everything Tim said in his book but main points: define your goals and achieve them can’t be overlooked. Also his points on outsourcing work and relinquishing control is a MUST for someone like me

Funny thing is, I bought the book you recommend months ago, but haven’t made time to read it yet! (Reading that book, though, is what sparked the “internet bug” in my wife, so now we are both working on internet businesses!)

Having quit my job and moved in with my in-laws in order to save money while I build my business has put me in a position where I HAVE to work 12+ hour days. Luckily, I like all of this work, including writing, and I love learning, so it doesn’t FEEL like work. But, it is stressful nonetheless!

I look forward to the day when I’m networking with more and more people, making friends online and working together, and have the funds to outsource some work as well. Though, I have to agree with John, I don’t want to publish material in my name that I didn’t write myself.

Ok, back to work…

With the change in the economy I feel I have to kick everything up a notch. There’s got to be a way to balance things out, but right now I’m not earning enough to hire anyone so I have to wear the several hats it takes to get everything done.

I’m not complaining because in a sick sort of way, I love what I do, I just wish I had more time or maybe more help to get it done.

I guess content is a cheap thing to buy, but writing is my favorite thing so I don’t want to publish someone else’s stuff under my own name. And we know how Google feels about buying links so I guess I am stuck doing everything myself whenever I’m awake!
