Hey Alex. This is great, thanks for giving your readers this opportunity. One question, I tried to submit but received a message saying “Submission limit active. Next submission opportunity is in around x hour(s).” How does this work? Do I just keep checking in to see if it is ready?

Thank for feedback Jill.

I'll do my best to follow but I'm not trying to be a reporter, I post what I feel like and sometimes I make mistakes, so be it!

Hi, this is for you, not for publication. Great post, and here are some suggestions for you:

1. Get someone to proofread your key posts, such as when you are specifically writing about writing.

 a. The phrase "confirm to the rule" should read "conform to the rule."

 b. The phrase "you image" should read "your image." You got it right in the following sentence so you know what you are doing.

 c. If you have no one who can proofread (ideally in person with the two of you in the same room), then print out your post, get a pen, read your post out loud, and make your changes. It is amazing what we can "hear" that we cannot "see."

2. Consolidate topics. For example, Relevant Content, Unique and Exclusive Content, and Common Sense Rule should all be together.

3. Make sure that the expressions you choose actually communicate your point.

 a. Generic Terms. For example, Common Sense Rule is so generic as to be nearly misleading.

 b. Ambiguous Terms. Another example is "if your article fits the conversation topic" -- did you mean "conversational," which would refer more to the tone than the content or meat of an article? Or by "conversation topic" did you mean content, that is, categories?

4. Ensure you complete your thoughts.

5. Avoid jargon that may be beyond the expertise of your target audience. This is something you yourself pointed out! As an example, "SEO'd anchor tags" tells me nothing.

GREAT WORK!!!

Jill

PS I LOVE testing themes and plugins, and gave all my friends and relatives a domain name and blog, all of which I am hosting, and some of whom are actually working on their new blogs (some aren't) for Christmas in 2011.

Hello,

I was hoping to contribute to your SEO blog. I've been reading it and I've really enjoyed a number of your recent posts.

Also, I think that your blog is a perfect spot for me to try to gain more exposure for a website and company that I help to run and maintain, which can be found at inetzeal.net.

I have much experience in the fields of SEO, Web Development, PPC campaigns, and overall Internet Marketing. I have worked with a few different Internet Marketing Companies, and have also helped a few local businesses achieve online success in the SERPs - bringing them from point A to point Z.

The article I would write for you would of course be 100% unique and never sold or distributed anywhere else, as well as highly valuable to your readers.

Here is a very recent example of my writing:

http://www.investinternals.com/2011/05/5-ways-to-use-new-software-for-startup.html

If you would like to review a post from me, or here a few ideas I have for a post please let me know.

Kind Regards,
Anthony
