Joe,

Yep, that and writing on topic you actually know something about. While it seem like a natural to start blogging about making money blogging (after all John Chow makes nice income doing it) - I think it is one topic where people fail the most ...

Take for example this blog - while I do talk about earning with your blog in my posts I tend to stay away from my earnings and concentrate the core info on Tips and Guides for WordPress bloggers. Because I share freely here what I know and learn as I go - I tend to get rewarded by readers. People buy what they need through one of the many affiliate links on this site and we all benefit ... they get a useful tool or product directly related to info I share, I get commissions to continue sharing same type of info.

Simple concept - share what you know and you will get rewarded :D

Very interesting post. I believe too many people get discouraged with blogging especially if they are doing it to "Make money." Anyone wanting to make money using a blog needs to build a list of people that may be potential buyers for what ever it is they are selling. If all bloggers keep this in mond, they will be rewarded daily and find it easier to blog more.

Jitendra,

Thanks! The post with details is already scheduled :D

Great plugin and 2.0 version makes it one of the top "must have" plugins for WordPress in my opinion.
