Growing your blog beyond publishing can be done quite easily by using WordPress Forums Plugins. Community growth greatly depends on ongoing communication and forums integrated into your WordPress blog through plugin or as an add on should be an option to consider.

I have been using SezWho universal profile service on my WordPress blog for a while now and I love the options they provide. Well, as everything else develops – these guys just came out with KILLER enhancements. I know that with announcement of Automattic acquiring Intense Debate it might be a choice you need to make yourself later but I love the options SezWho provides!

KeywordLuv is very useful plugin for your WordPress blog and for the longest time I have been using it to share link love to the commenters on my blog. I appreciate each and every one who took advantage of the feature and contributed to the content on my blog!

And yes, valid comments I consider a valuable content and love rewarding people for it! Link love is one of the easiest ways to reward.

Fighting Comment Spam on a WordPress blog is a never ending battle. Since I provide DoFollow options and use 2 plugins that reward commenters even more: CommentLuv and KeywrodLuv – I get a LOT of comment spam. Ever since I have switched from Spam Karma 2 to Akismet I’ve been testing multiple plugins that will assist me with this work and minimize the load.

Well, looks like I have just found a wining combination!

This post is written to address multiple questions I have received from my existing customers and readers of my blog – how to build WordPress blog with minimal number of plugins for speed and still profit from it. While the choices will greatly depend on what niche you are addressing and your goals, I’ll provide some of my personal choices that I think should be part of ANY WordPress blog, no matter how minimalistic it is.

I love how WordPress can be changed or modified by simply adding a small piece of code… but if you have been reading my blog for a while, it’s not a news to you . WP Ajax Edit Comments is a cool Plugin for WordPress users. Be aware though that this Plugin only works for WordPress 2.5+. This Plugin allows your readers to edit their comments for a limited time. As an administrator, you can still edit all the comments as usual.

I’ve actually been looking for this Plugin for some time because I have seen it featured on other sites and was glad to be able to edit my comment on several occasions before.
