Content Thieves Forced Me To Change RSS Feed To Summary

I have to apologize to my regular RSS readers but unfortunately I had to switch my RSS Feed to show only summary. In last couple weeks I had to deal with more content thieves than I personally like and even though I have taken a legal action against couple – its hard to deal with those based in China or other countries non compliant with our laws and perhaps a basic morality.

Process of dealing with those idiots is simply too time consuming so the next best thing was to limit amount they can steal…

Twitter Search Overrun By Spammers

Today I attempted to use Twitter Search tool only to discover that Spammers managed to overrun it with Spam based on trending topics. I don’t like to be a doom and gloom but it doesn’t look good for twitter ability to control it.

Comment Spam Fighting Technique

Comment Spam when looked from slightly different perspective can be an indicator of your blog popularity! So I guess we all should rejoice when our SPAM queue filled with dozens of comments from spam-bots. Luckily that is easily killed by simply taking advantage of the options provided by Akismet. But what do you do with Manually Submitted Comment Spam?

Comment Spam Filter Comes To Rescue Akismet

Fighting Comment Spam on a WordPress blog is a never ending battle. Since I provide DoFollow options and use 2 plugins that reward commenters even more: CommentLuv and KeywrodLuv – I get a LOT of comment spam. Ever since I have switched from Spam Karma 2 to Akismet I’ve been testing multiple plugins that will assist me with this work and minimize the load.

Well, looks like I have just found a wining combination!
