Antispam Bee – Great Comment Spam Fighting Option for WordPress

About 5 hour ago I have installed a great plugin, Antispam Bee (can be found in WordPress plugins repository) to test this alternative to Akismet. Not that there was anything wrong with that plugin but I get quite a few questions on FREE alternative for business bloggers and I just had to test.

Your eyes are not deceiving you because I do believe that Comment Spammers are directly encouraged by bloggers driven by a desperation to get activity on their blogs.

I have no plans to lay the blame here but instead encourage those just starting with the wonderful form of online publishing that blogging has become to stay strong and resist the urge to approve those few first comments on your new, shiny blog.

Comment Spam Fighting Technique

Comment Spam when looked from slightly different perspective can be an indicator of your blog popularity! So I guess we all should rejoice when our SPAM queue filled with dozens of comments from spam-bots. Luckily that is easily killed by simply taking advantage of the options provided by Akismet. KeywordLuv Plugin Is Gone

KeywordLuv is very useful plugin for your WordPress blog and for the longest time I have been using it to share link love to the commenters on my blog. I appreciate each and every one who took advantage of the feature and contributed to the content on my blog!

And yes, valid comments I consider a valuable content and love rewarding people for it! Link love is one of the easiest ways to reward.
