I’m a strong believer in first impression. It is what determines HOW you are perceived on subconscious level even before you are interacted with. In case of blogs it is just as important, as first impression has a great chance of turning interested visitor into “fast clicking Back button” browser.

Sadly, even if the information you provide is relevant to the search!

I have seen it before and done it myself. Just think back – have you ever arrived to a site because it supposedly had info you need but was so destructed by the color combination, ads overload or awkward navigation that you simply clicked back to look for OTHER site?

This week was filled with quite a few things that impacted both Internet and also Offline world we live in. I will share a few posts that captured my own attention and pushed me into action as I felt compelled to take a stand, even as it seem unpopular under current US administration.

No worries – this is not political post, although it will include an opinion!

• Twitter Autofollow and Auto DM Etiquette post by Mari Smith resonated with me personally because I expressed opinion very similar to hers and was looking around the net to see what other people think.

• The 10-Point Ethics Checklist by my personal favorite copy writing guru Michel Fortin I think contains it all when it comes to marketing on Internet. I guess we can easily call it 10 commandments of marketing! Loved It!

• How To Create A $12 Visitor Value? this is a bonus offer from a fellow blogger Andy Beard and I think it contains something so unique that if you are in a mood to buy PLF2, you need to check it out. BTW, I get nothing from publishing it except satisfaction of spreading something I think will help you.

• Stop it, Washington,before it’s too late! by Clayton Makepeace is a both informational and call to action. As personal raised with conservative values and one who lived through totalitarian regime it pains me to see what is done to country I come to call my home. Time to wake up is now – history repeats itself and if you don’t believe me – read the history of Russia and Germany.

Commenting on blogs that provide benefits of DoFollow is one of the best ways to build incoming links. It give you deep content linking, especially when done on blogs with CommentLuv enabled and it passes Page Rank to help you build authority of your own blog.

It is one strategy I personally use and highly recommended in several posts. Problem I have is when people who comment fail to read comment guidelines and leave SPAM and what is even worse…

How Do I Get Targeted Traffic To My Blog?

Question above is perhaps one that people ask me most often and one that really has no simple answer. I don’t believe there is a single source that will simply deliver you “massive traffic”, be it an SEO, social marketing, article marketing, video marketing, forum marketing… you name it!

I’m not into conspiracy theory and while this video has Obama’s name in – I think it is extremely controversial and must see no matter your color: Democrat, Republican or Independent like myself.
