Introduction of native tags system in [tag-tec]WordPress 2.3[/tag-tec] generated a storm of questions from many bloggers. In fact this is one of the most useful features outside of faster java processing that made me upgrade to new version.
This new feature helps every blogger to properly structure the blog for success and make content more accessible and searchable. But that is assuming you have a clear understanding on HOW you need to build your blog from ground up and possibly redesign it armed with proper knowledge.

I have taken a leap and performed an upgrade of my blog to WordPress 2.3. I wish I could say everything was rosy but unfortunately it wasn’t so. Even with proper preparation and investigation and research there were several things worth noting.
This post is to provide my personal account and perhaps help other people overcome lost functionality due to UTW being discontinued as well as few other things.

This is one question that is perhaps while incorrectly phrased but still something that is been lingering in my mind …
Can you take a weekend off without loosing your audience?
I generally try to program at least one post to go live on weekend to retain the consistence of posting but like this extended weekend I failed to follow through.

I have just finished reading reading report that pulled me away from everything I was doing and I have to say that every minute spent on this reading was well worth it … Once again Russell Bronson comes out with a report The IM Myth, which by the way is FREE, that manages to break boundaries of what I thought I knew.
I tend to be skeptical about things but when something begins with headline “What If Everything You Were Ever Taught About Internet Marketing Was A Myth…?” and then promises to pay me, I simply had to read.

There are many arguments on importance of page rank to your blog but the fact still remains - higher your page rank, more chances you have to monetize your blog. It is not something we need to agree or disagree on as it is simple statement of facts. It has been discussed on several prominent blogs that Google has stopped updating Page Rank, at least the way we see it represented in our browser Google PR indicators. A few days ago I read an article on Yaro’s blog that they might be resuming updates but personally I highly doubt it, as my blog is coming into its 6th moth and still No Page Rank!
But I also think they have something else cooking for blog ranking and here is why …

I’m all about automation and in this post I want to discuss two very specific things that automate critical tasks for me: Automating Social Bookmarking via OnlyWire Autosubmiter to bring traffic and Automating monetization via DealDotCom plugin and Widget.
Both DealDotCom Widget and OnlyWire Autosubmiter are brand new additions to my blog, so my post here more deals with expectations and promises as well as my reasoning behind the choice, rather then solid facts. Sorry, it is simply too early to state any facts as I don’t have any data to support it with …
