When WordPress 2.6 (I think) was introduced – Gobala released a new version of the plugin and that is the one I still use. To my best knowledge I have no issues. I recommend contacting Gobala directly and ask for upgrade.

I bought this awhile back and loved the Cute Links plugin. However, since upgrades to WordPress I found that the plugin sends all clicks on my links to 404 errors and there is no support the plugin – or at least gets a response from anyone. I’ve been having to manually go through 150 blog posts and pull the links and re-do.

Talk about a killer task!

I use the wp-marketer plugin, also a free one http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wpmarketer/ it has most of the settings and benefits of the paid ones. Have bookmarked your site, Thanks George

I personally using aLinks with WP Link cloaker..both are free WP plugin’s. I decided to replace it with Ninja affiliate plugin.. the reason??? aLink can link only to one time to specified keyword.. not for example 4 same keywords on page…

Yeah … I really think that combination of Cute Links and aLinks (free plugin) wil do quite nicely for WordPress blogs as it covers every major part … I’m all for paying for what is worth but if functionality is EASILY replaced – I’m not paying.

Interesting Fact: Looks like the Cute Links or the Affiliate System for the WordPress that comes as module and part of the Gobala’s product is actually a subset of the features provided by the “Affiliate Ninja” plugin.

I have just received and email promo from Gobala on new product. Look it up if interested, although in my opinion –

Affiliate Ninja can be easily replace by aLinks and if you need cloaking – Cute Link that are part of the SAB can do that quite nicely
