This looks better than http://www.Jingproject.com too, as you only get 5 minutes recording there, (another Techsmith product)
Yes Screencast-O-Matic with 15 minutes will certainly beats the rather limiting 5 minutes recording time with Jing. And HD comes with the free version of Screencast-O-Matic too!
It is an excellent tool. Personally though I prefer the paid version of Camtasia and they’ll even give you a full 30 day trial to test it out.

It seems for every expesive internet marketing product, a cheap or free product comes out with similar quality. Looks like worth waiting. I seen in a forum, when a new plugin introduced, a memeber written, I will wait for the free version to release. Now I also feel he is right.

This tool is actually designed to allow you do Screencast – show what you do and narrate it. I’m in same boat as you and don’t show my face in videos and yet – video tutorial are biggest part of my income
Thanks for the heads up Alex, these new tools keep springing up and can sometimes go un-noticed. Not actually used it yet but does look to be a very useful piece of software.

First let me say I love your news article on our dash board in the admin section. I get so much email a lot of times I miss your updates. I just installed a new blog and was able to see the new seo tips you shared.
Love the link plug in on automatic and this new screen cast is just what I was looking for. I have been trying to get into video marketing for almost a year this will help a great deal.
I ran across two great little plug in not sure if anyone would be interested.

This seems like a really cool free tool. However, just something in me that feels uneasy sending too much personal information to 3rd party websites. I wouldn’t feel comfortable uploading my video to YouTube through their website. Also, the idea that their website is seeing everything I’m doing…..
Not to say they aren’t reputable or anything. I’m just weird like that.
Is it just me or does anyone feel that way, too?
