Lat Friday I have posted a quick TweetPoll with a single purpose – I was interested to learn how many of the people who might follow me or someone I know actually make online.

Results are both expected and SURPRISING! I hope you will take a minute to vote and add to the conversation and check out the results!

Well, Alex it looks like the have’s and the have not’s and plenty of business for the have’s.

Chris, I think it depends how you look at it. We all have been at the point where the only answer we could provide “I Wish…” it all changes but only once we start taking action!

I actually view this poll as indicator that we have a lot more people reporting success than I expected! This is simply superb!

I make more than $100 per day but it wasn’t easy getting to that point. I think most people come online thinking it will be easy to make money and when it’s not they quit. More people would make it if they would just stick it out longer.

    Alex,
There are a lot of people out there being lured by the claims that they can make a million dollars in a year if they only buy the latest ebook. They will never make $100 a day if they believe it is as easy as buying a book.

It is people like you who are giving new internet marketers the kind of information that they really need to work up to actually making a living in this business.

For those almost 50% in your survey who wish for $100 per day, please keep up the good work of giving them solid reliable information.

Very interesting survey Alex! I was surprised by the percentage of people making more than $100 per day. I would have guessed about 5%-10%. Now it would be nice to know “how” they are doing it:)

Leon, everyone is doing it using their own means but I can tell you one thing that unites them all: Action Taking and Consistency!

Identify one method that you like and start taking action on it consistently! Be it a blogging, PPC marketing, Anything else – but take one path and stick to it. Results will come it just might take a bit of time and 99% fail not because method doesn’t work – but because they quit before it starts working FOR THEM!

    Thanks for feedback guys!

I think it is the hardest to realize for people that it is NOT that easy to earn online, or at least that it requires actual work! Yes, there are some who get lucky but majority have to work on more realistic scale.

When I started it was always for me first – make a $1 a day, consistently
Than it was $10 a day, consistently
$100 a day was a third stage of this slow goal progression but ONLY a part of the plan, that is why I asked that questions.

I’m still working on my own goal path and simply glad to see that so many of the people who chose to participate in that poll have great results! $100 a day is quite doable but it does require work!

My income varies depending on which source I mention. Collectively, I do manage well over $100 a day.

Starting off was not easy, however. I can recall times when I felt like giving up, and trying something different. But as I read read more blogs like this one, I gained knowledge enough to improve my earnings.

It takes hard work and effort and does not happen overnight.

  8. marzena (3 comments.) says:

Well I make more than that most days but it’s from freelance work I get online (and do offline) so I guess it doesn’t count (I mean it’s not like I get over 100 bucks from ads on my site – few people earn that much I think.

  9. Michael (3 comments.) says:

I’m definitely TRYING to get the the $100/day mark. That would be awesome. I’m making a bit everyday, but it’s slow and steady right now.

Across my various online initiatives – we’re just about there.

I will confirm what most people are saying here by stating that it does take time, focus, and a concerted and consistent effort to make your online business work. You are amongst a very large group of people trying to carve out your niche online, in addition to managing the ever-changing technology landscape.

I wish all of you the best with your online endeavors!

I am surprised to find out I am in the majority upon taking this poll. I though everyone else was making at least $100 a day except me.

I still have high expectations to be able to make money online soon.

I have been trying for years to make money online at home and until recently I was not seeing much in the way of progress.

Due to sights like this one where sincere people are really trying to make a difference to help people earn money online to save their homes and families, more people are able to increase their incomes and have hope for a better life.

Quite interesting results. I have much less than 100 per day, but I`m working on improving my wellfare and I hope to reach this result after a while.

Well, I am still on my road to make more than $100 per day which sums up to $3000+ per month. Since I’m young, there are a lot of things that I have to catch up on, hence i usually don’t find enough time in my online money making ventures!

Making money online has got plenty of potential in it. If you do the things right and in a right direction you can make much more than $100 a day. I am a beginner here in online earning so I don’t make much(in fact I make much less than 100$ a day), but I know that I can make much more than 100$ a day due to the potential in earning online.

I guess as far as goal setting, my first one should be $100 a day. Right now it’s about half that. I’m constantly working on it though!

    Hi,

To make $100 a day online actually isn’t too hard if you set your goal and don’t ever lost your focus. There are plenty of ways to make it accomplish. One of the popular and really return in the value is affiliate marketing.

Yeah, people tend to lost their focus when in the middle of work. One of way to avoid this is to set something that will motivate you and make you feel you’ll losing something big when you quit for it.

And to get a consistent income online is by find the recursive method by the Advertiser / Merchant if you are in the affiliate marketing. Once you get sale / lead, money will stream into your bank recursively. You can earn more than thousands per month with this. :)

I’m in the majority! But this time, I’m not quitting at all. Making money online isn’t really as easy as most people make it out to be. It’s just like any other job – you need training and knowledge as well as having the confidence to just take action and see it through.
