Taking some things for granted is part of our human nature and in cases when we do we only realize how good we had it only AFTER we loose it …

So in this post I want to go on a personal rant and ask you a question:

What Impact “Grandma Factor” Has On Your Business?

Almost 6 month ago my baby son Denis was born and I was fortunate enough to work for a company that provided with paternity leave of 2 month. It was a huge help to my wife during that very trying period as well as great son and dad bonding experience but then I had to go back to my 9 to 5 grind (yeah … I do work for a leaving besides my Internet Endeavors).

Lucky us my mom was flying in from Old World and this is where the “Grandma Factor” comes into play. She set it as her main goal to help us out with babysitting and done such a great job that we have started taking it for granted that Denis is taken care. My wife did all the house chores and me working for my boss and in the morning and evening attending my sites and working on my product.

Boy what a rude awakening it was once she left yesterday … With extended family back in old country she was missing them, missing the interaction and constantly being in touch (she is very social in that perspective) so she decided to go back …

This morning was the first of series of mornings where instead of working on my blog and taking care of multiple chores associated with running [tag-tec]Online Business[/tag-tec] I had to share the task of taking care of baby boy while she fed our older son (he is 7) and did all the things around the house. Morning is usually one of my most productive periods which was cut quite short 🙂

So while my customer support will not suffer I now have a full realization just how big of a role “Grandma Factor” played in my Online Business …
