I’m a Desert storm veteran and my “american dream” is just to make enough money online to be able to live on a tropical island and manage my business with a lap top while on the beach. In response to one of the other comments.. you are right about us being a republic.. but more specifically we are a representative republic. Either way not a democracy. Its not too late yet.. we all just have to realize there are more than one citizenship type here.. and align ourselves correctly. The correct term for our country is united states of America. The United States is a corporation and represents only the federal defacto government. You can learn more just from what i have said here .. if you want to.

It makes me kinda sad that we need a special day for remembering our vets. Afterall it’s them who shaped the world the way it is now.

Spot on as the Brits would say. By the way I’ve read the “5,000 Year Leap”. It should be required reading for citizenship. The major problem today is the people have been brainwashed into thinking that the US is a democracy. It’s not, it’s a Republic. And until people understand the difference between the two we will continue our slide into Marxism, it’s inevitable.
Please read the Federalist Papers and The American Revolution: Writings from the War of Independence Liberty of America to gain a fuller understanding of what this Experiment was suppose to be about and how it’s been hijacked by corrupt politicians. And make no mistake about it, it is the politicians who make and destroy nations. They have the power to make laws to serve themselves right under your nose. History is drowning in the blood of the innocents at the hands of their rulers.
Your only hope is to take back your country through educating yourself about what these people really stand for and require them to uphold the US Constitution, not the European or the UN or the United Arab Republics, but the US Constitution and if they will not, REPLACE THEM NOW!

We shouldnâ��t forget the people who sacrifice their lives for saving the lives of unknown people. Just paying tributes for one or two minute is not a true award but we should come forward to help their dependent.
