My Unintentional Long Absence

After receiving a few emails through contact form I figured I better write a quick post on Why I haven’t posted in a while.

No! I do not plan to retire and I have every intention to continue providing information, same as I did before. Reason for my absence and lack of posting is very simple…

I put my house on the market right before the Christmas, got it under contract right after New Year and now I’m quite busy dealing with all the things that has to be done since house was FSBO and I’m responsible for handling the seller part.

Not to mention that I still don’t have a place to move my family to :-) Needless to say that my wife is slightly anxious and I spend a lot of time looking at properties and concentrating on family but I will be back in full swing once the dust settles.

Thank you everyone for the emails! I promise – I’ll Be back!

Wow. You’re a little gutsy to be selling your house with no house to move to (yet). I hope that your guts will be rewarded with a wonderful house for you and your family. I remember the process of moving and I know how stressful it can be. Good luck!

Well Alex, I too had wondered what was going on. I sure don’t envy you making that move. I moved my family from NC to GA three years ago and I don’t know if I am over it yet or not. lol

But, you are much younger than me, so it won’t take so much out of you. Looking forward to when you are back 100%.

      Thanks, yeah….

Good thing is – my marketing knowledge combined with luck sold my house for full price in less then 3 weeks, bad thing is – I still don’t have anything to move to :-) been spending a lot of time in search for the right hose that can become a home

    Alex,

I kind of thought that might be the reason. I appreciate that you are putting family first. I’ve missed your posts, but look forward to them coming back soon.

Best of luck finding a new house. I know it won’t take you and your wife long to make it a home.

Glad to hear the house sold quickly for you Alex – maybe you should have been asking more for it! ;-)

REALLY hope you’re able to find an excellent place before your closing date!

Thanks Doug, wouldn’t matter – I had to drop the price by 3k due to lower appraisal, turns out I marketed better then I could bring value of the house. Neighborhood let me down :-)

Oddly enough I’ve seen a lot of posts from bloggers that seem to be coming back to their blogs now in the new year. In either case I’m glad you’re not done blogging. I’ve stumbled across articles of yours multiple times now and it’s nice to hear they’ll keep coming.
