WordPress 2.2 Theme Release – FH-Freedom-Reloaded

fh-reloaded1.jpgFH-Freedom-Reloaded is a re-work and modification of “FH Freedom blue 0.2” theme released by Frank Helmschrott. I was very impressed by the theme but have found that it was incompatible with WordPress 2.2 and widgets system integrated into new version. There was also an issue with many things being in German and some CSS issues.

To make story short – I have adopted the theme for one of my projects, fixed the functions to make it fully compatible with latest release and modified columns layout and CSS styling to suit my needs. Unfortunately I have decided not to continue developing project it was intended for and since the theme is ready – I’m releasing it for your enjoyment.

Translate Your Blog – An Easy to Implement Plugin

This will be a short post and mainly designed with one thing in mind – let you know about one very simple “plugin” that can be implemented on any blog – translation via Google Translate service. I have implemented it on my blog and it can be seen on sidebar.

What makes this so nice – it is a simple HTML and JavaScript code, which can be implemented on any blog platform, including and will allow visitors that natively speak other language to read you content. See it in action on my sidebar and click (About) link to get your own copy. I do have to admit that Google translate is far from perfect but it will do, since it is better then nothing.

Being a do it yourself infopreneur I’m always on look out for good tutorial, how-to guides and other help yourself type of information. If you have the money to spend this might not be the most rewarding option but I like to dabble in different things and sometime it shows while other time it works out to the best.

Well this time I run into over 60 Web 2.0 tutorials to choose from and while not all of them will work for you – some of them simply awesome!

Sphere It – To Provide More Value To Your Blog

While I didn’t discover America I think this little find is well worth posting about. I have just downloaded and installed a nice little plugin that adds value to blog without creating any clatter. I’m talking about . You can see it in action at the end of each and every post and individual pages just like in screenshot below …

What is so cool about it? It doesn’t take much space and provides additional value to your visitors by supplying related content. How cool is that?! You don’t have to do anything, except install it.

2 Steps To Add Youtube Video to Wordpress

Perhaps it will not be a huge discovery to anyone using Wordpress for while but if it helps even one single person I will consider my mission accomplished.

Videos add great value and interaction to your Web 2.0 blog but it might not be as easy as I have discovered yesterday. New version of includes 2 tabs in create new post or page area with one of them being the “Code” tab. Youtube provides you with a complete html code to embed it on your site and to me it seemed like logical step to simply click on Code tab, add the html for video and then save post.

As I have discovered yesterday – it don’t work that way. So here is a simple 2-steps process to add to your Wordpress blog.
