Pretty loud statement, huh? Obviously this is my personal opinion but I strongly believe I have a right to say that. As a member of Internet Marketing community I’m subscribed to about 30 or more different mailing lists and on daily bases one of my email boxes looks like a parade of headlines. Almost each and every one of them promising me some new guide or tool that supposed to “propel me into riches” within the shortest possible time period.

Granted some of those info products do reveal new ideas or techniques, which will help you if properly implemented and used but is it really worth spending all the money people ask for it? I have purchased several and took action as advised – I made some money in a few case, I learned something in others but I have also discovered that more often then not these products pitch you very same ideas you can learn for free.

After all – what is revelation for one person is simply a daily business for another. While first will try to create a product and sell it to you, second will give it away to help you or to promote something different. And this is how we can take advantage of it.

I have to admit – I’m a control freak. I track and check stats for every effort (or almost every): every post, every email I send to my list, every article and sometimes I find myself spending more time looking at stats and tracking results then actually producing something that helps me earn.

Since starting this blog I have discovered so many more different statistics I can track that it scared me … So I decided to stop the insanity and find a tool that will remove the work that has no real meaning and no impact on final results and provide me with stats for WordPress that actually matter. Well, lo and behold!

In last few days I have noticed increased number of comments SPAM coming across my site. Right at this moment I was glad I’m using Spam Karma 2 plugin, which kills it 100% and with no effort on my part. Superb plugin for WordPress and I cannot recommend it enough if you are using this blog platform.

But still seeing all the SPAM comments coming in I decided to do a little investigation and discovered that out of 73 spam comments – 65 came on one and very same Article I wrote – “Write Blog Headlines To Explode Article Views And Create Stampede Of Targeted Traffic”. I have to add that I use Google Webmaster tools for sitemap submission and queries tracking alongside with Analytics, so that is what I used for my investigation.

MyBlogLog received its own reiteration of Gravy Train that gained popularity with technorati and swept through bloggin community. I was a bit surprised to discover myself on receiving end of the new train and can only express my thanks to “The Real Estate Schmoozer” for inclusion.
