Blogging is one of the most popular ways of making money online. Basically, a blog is a personal website that contains commentaries and opinions including information on highly specific niches such as starting a small business, home and interior design, finding a job and easy weight loss regimen to name a few.

Not everyone can achieve success in the blogging world. In fact, more than 90% of blogs over the Internet do not earn substantial revenues to even cover hosting and domain fees. Success in the field of blogging remains elusive and requires a lot of patience and dedication. Moreover, it is more likely that those who do not succeed in the blogging world are those who have committed these simple mistakes that are preventing their blogs from taking off.

Reviews on the Internet can be a tricky thing. Most Internet marketers assume that writing a review is always regarded as sharing a personal opinion, and chances are good that you’re reading this post from a country that values free speech as a right. But with organizations like the Federal Trade Commission involved, you have to be very careful any time you promote a product or service on your blog.

It’s not just your reputation as a blogger on the line if you make a mistake, but your very livelihood. I have always been clear when making a product reviews on my blog that I use affiliate links. Making money with your blog is easy and actually almost automated once your blog gets a bit of age and ranking. This is mainly due to the fact that most blogs die a lot sooner than traditional websites and advertisers view them as “more volatile” investment but once you have proven that your blog is here to stay – You Got Yourself Blog Income Potential!

In fact I get nearly several requests each week for advertisements on pages of my blog. They come in multiple shapes and forms but have couple things in common, which we will get to in a bit. What I want to discuss here is YOUR blog goals, because it will help you identify which ads will stay and which will be declined!
